A washing machine and a method for determining a load weight of a washing machine. The washing machine comprises: an inner drum (100); a motor (200), used for driving the rotation of the inner drum (100); a first memory (300), storing an index table, the index table comprising a plurality of rotation speed intervals and corresponding weight intervals, and the rotation speed intervals being intervals of rotation speeds at which the inner drum (100) rotates for pre-determined time after being started; a speed sensor (400), used for detecting the rotation speeds at which the inner drum (100) rotates for the pre-determined time after being started; a processor (500), used for determining the weight intervals corresponding to the rotation speeds according to the index table so as to determine a weight interval, within which a current load of the inner drum (100) falls; and a controller (600), used for controlling the motor (200) to drive the rotation of the inner drum (100) according to the weight interval of the current load so as to perform washing and dehydrating in a corresponding manner. |
