Provided is a connector, comprising a main body cast component in which an upper level contact group and a lower level contact group are press fitted forward in an engagement direction, and an upper level contact insert component which is formed integrally with the upper level contact group by insert mold casting. The upper level contact insert component is positioned aft of the lower level contact group.
