PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure fuel supply pump having a highly reliable electromagnetic suction valve structure.SOLUTION: A high-pressure fuel supply pump comprises: an electromagnetic suction valve 300 regulating a quantity of fuel drawn in a pressurization chamber 11; a discharge valve 8 discharging the fuel from the pressurization chamber 11; and a plunger 2 that can make a reciprocating motion in the pressurization chamber 11, the electromagnetic suction valve 300 comprising a suction valve 30, a solenoid coil 43, an anchor 36 and cores 38, 39 attracting the anchor 36, the core 39 comprising a magnetic suction surface 39a facing the anchor 36 and attracting the anchor 36, and the core 38 comprising a cylindrical part 38b surrounding an outer circumferential surface of the anchor 36, the high-pressure fuel supply pump being configured so that the outer circumferential surface of the anchor 36 slides on an inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical part 38b of the core 38 and a fuel passage 36a penetrating the anchor 36 in the direction of a central axis of the anchor 36 is formed radially inward of the outer circumferential surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
