PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removal mechanism of a preform which surely removes a foreign matter from the inside of the preform and can discharge the removed foreign matter to the outside.SOLUTION: A dust removal mechanism 40 blows compressed air ionized by an ionizer 67 into the inside of the preform from an annular gap 75 between the inner peripheral surface of a mouth 9b of a preform 9 and the outer peripheral surface of a suction pipe 62 inserted from the mouth 9b. The ionized compressed air flows through the inner peripheral surface 9e of the preform 9, removes the adhered foreign matter, is sucked from a suction port 62b of the suction pipe 62 together with the removed foreign matter, and is discharged. Because the ionized compressed air flows to the side of the bottom surface along the whole of the inner peripheral surface 9e of the preform 9, the dust removal mechanism 40 can surely remove the foreign matter adhered on the inner peripheral surface 9e, particularly, the electrostatically adhered foreign matter, and prevents the removed foreign matter from coming in contact with the inner peripheral surface 9e of the preform and being adhered thereon again.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
