PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a compact and simplified cable holding structure, while achieving protection needed to the cable, in an ultrasonic probe.SOLUTION: A holding member 20 comprises an outer sleeve 24 and an inner sleeve 26. The inner sleeve 26 has a conical shape which becomes a tapered shape toward an inner direction 100. When tension force toward an outer direction 102 is generated to a cable 12, a tapered part 26A slightly deforms toward an inside, thereby, holding force of the cable 12 on the part can be enhanced.
