The present invention provides an apparatus for avoiding a vehicle′s collision and a control method for a differential brake to perform the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for avoiding a vehicle′s collision comprises a detection part, a control part and a differential brake part. The detection part detects whether an adjacent vehicle exists to output a vehicle detection signal. The control part determines the possibility of a collision with the adjacent vehicle in accordance with the vehicle detection signal from the detection part, outputs a collision avoiding command when collision is expected, and outputs a differential brake ending signal when a preset differential control ending condition is satisfied. The differential brake part performs a differential brake control operation when the collision avoiding command is received, performs a differential brake control ending operation when the differential brake ending signal is received, and slowly removes brake pressure at a preset ratio to control the differential brake when the differential brake control is ended. According to the present invention, the sense of difference regarding the system, which a user can feel, can be minimized even when the differential brake is stopped. |
