PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a back emission type solid-state imaging element improved in a color separation characteristic.SOLUTION: A light reception part comprises a first light reception part, and a second light reception part arranged at a position deeper than that of the first light reception part on the basis of a semiconductor substrate back face. The first light reception part comprises a first conductivity type first semiconductor region where charge generated by photoelectric conversion is collected as a signal charge. A reading part comprises a first conductivity type second semiconductor region arranged extending in a depth direction so that the charge collected in the first semiconductor region is read to a semiconductor substrate front face side. Means for reducing the quantity of light entering into the second semiconductor region is included.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
