PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately narrow down on a component whose quantitative value is indeterminate as affected by a foreign component and that requires confirmation of the mass chromatogram, etc., by visual inspection.SOLUTION: A peak on a mass chromatogram in a plurality of m/z that characterize a target component is detected, and the detected peak is classified into a plurality of groups in accordance with the appearance time (S1-S3). A measured mass spectrum is acquired for each of the groups (S4), the measured mass spectrum and the standard mass spectrum of the target component are correlated for each m/z, and the standard mass spectrum is multiplied for normalization by the same magnification for all of m/z so as not to exceed peak strength on the measured mass spectrum (S5). Then, the peak strength of m/z of quantitative ions is examined on the normalized standard mass spectrum, and, if the strength exceeds a preset threshold and a confirmation ion ratio found from the measured mass spectrum obtained for the target component is off a reference range, the target component is made a candidate for the result of narrowing-down (S6, S7, S10, S11).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
