The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vehicle body mounting structure for a fuel tank, capable of suppressing an increase in the weight of the fuel tank and capable of suppressing deformations of the fuel tank caused by a band member. The vehicle body mounting structure for a fuel tank according to the present invention comprises a band member (21) that is disposed along a lower surface (14) of a resin-manufactured fuel tank (1) and that has both ends thereof secured to a vehicle body, upper-side grooves (31) that are formed on side surfaces (12) of the fuel tank (1) and that extend across at least a portion of the side surfaces (12) of the fuel tank (1) from an upper surface (13) of the fuel tank (1) downwardly, and cushion members (26) provided to be interposed between the fuel tank (1) and the vehicle body and to straddle the upper-side grooves (31).
