[Also in Group XXIX] A distributer for powder or liquid insecticides adapted for carrying on the back includes a blower 10 driven by an air cooled motor 4 and has insecticide and fuel tanks 15, 16 mounted on a carrying frame 1 by quick release straps 13. If the tank 15 is intended for powder, it incorporates a hopper 17<SP>1</SP>. Carrying straps 29 and a handle 6 are fitted. A releaseable connection 24 for a mechanical agitator (not shown) arranged in a tank for powder is supplied. A third tank secured to an end of the tank 15 in the same manner as the tank 16 may be provided. The tank 15 is pressurized by a direct connection 19 to the blower, and material passes from the tank to the spray nozzle via a conduit 20. |
