<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polypropylene for an electric material with high level of electric insulating property, the variation range of which is suppressed to substantially zero between production lots or within a production lot. <P>SOLUTION: The polypropylene for the electric material has a 0.1-30 g/10 min melt flow rate, a 0.90-0.99 mesopentad fraction calculated from a<SP>13</SP>C-NMR spectrum, a ≤50 wt.ppm firing residue based on the polypropylene, a ≤1 wt.ppm and a ≤0.1 wt.ppm of a titanium content and an iron content, respectively, based on the polypropylene, detected from the firing residue, and a ≤5 wt.ppm chlorine content based on the polypropylene. The polypropylene film has an excellent electric insulating property and is suitable for a capacitor film without the combined use of an additive such as a β-crystal nucleating agent due to its roughened surface. The polypropylene film is also useful for wire coating and for a material for the conveying device of an electronic material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
