The invention relates to a battery-driven alarm. In the alarm consisting of a detection head and a base, a battery connector can be reliably prevented from being forgotten to be connected. A battery connector forgotten connection preventing component (12) has an operating cover (12a) which opens and closes a battery connector insertion port (11k) arranged on the detection head (11), and a working sheet (12b) which is connected with the operating cover (12a) and is in linkage with an opening action of the operating cover (12a) and moves from a combination operation forbidding position to a combination operation permission position, and on a base (10), an abutting part (10d) which stops combination operation of the base (10) and the detection head (11) is formed corresponding to the combination operation forbidding position of the working sheet (12b). |
