<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of concurrently achieving power saving of a sensor network and highly precise data measurement. <P>SOLUTION: A sensor network control unit includes a feature calculation section and a network control section. The feature calculation section calculates the feature of sensor data in a predetermined area, based on specific information including information indicating each position of a plurality of sensor nodes disposed in the area and sensor data measured with each of the plurality of sensor nodes.
