Heat exchanging element of a heat exchange bundle in a heat exchanger

The element i.e. cooling element (100), has an introducing unit i.e. transverse orifice, for introducing gas flow (G2) i.e. exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) gas, in the element. A diffusion opening (150) diffuses the gas flow outside the element, where the gas flow is mixed with another gas flow (G1) i.e. intake gas. A transport channel transports the former gas flow and connects the introducing unit with the diffusion opening. A coolant circulation channel and the transport channel are separated by a thermal bridge breaking unit.
