PURPOSE:To exhibit an excellent electromagnetic wave shielding effect by a method wherein the suitable amount of thermoplastic elastomeric pellets, which contain both thermoplastic resin pellets containing electrically conductive fillers and the mixture of a low-melting metal or a low-melting alloy and a styrene-maleic anhydride resin, is blended with the suitable amount of unfilled plastic resin pellets. CONSTITUTION:Copper fibers are bundled to cover an ABS resin with the aid of a single-screw extruder, and ABS resin pellets containing the copper fibers are obtained by cutting the copper fiber-covered ABS resin. These pellets contain 5 to 90wt.% of the copper fibers. On the other hand, a metal or alloy having the melting point of 140 to 300 deg.C, for example, 10 to 80wt.% of Sn-Pb solder powder, and a styrene-maleic anhydride resin (1000 to 3000 of a molecular weight) are kneaded by using a twin-screw extruder, and the kneaded material thus obtained and an SBS are kneaded in the proportion of 20/80 to 80/20 by using an open roll mill to obtain thermoplastic elastomeric pellets containing solder powder. These kinds of the resin pellets and the unfilled ABS resin pellets are dryblended in a desired proportion to perform injection molding, thus obtaining a molded sheet article. |
