The mobile terminal includes: a touch screen; and a control unit detecting a plurality of first pointers on the touch screen when a first surface touch is inputted on the touch screen for a predetermined time, and detecting a plurality of second pointers on the touch screen when a second surface touch is inputted on the touch screen for a predetermined time after a preset interval. The control unit can perform a predefined action when the number of the first pointers and the number of the second pointers exceed a preset number individually. Therefore, user convenience can be improved. |
