<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door frame for a vehicle that is lightened in weight of a door frame while maintaining its rigidity. <P>SOLUTION: In the door frame for a vehicle, which is provided with a frame member 20 formed from a single elongated plate member 10 which integrally includes a glass run accommodating portion 40 for accommodating a glass run, a weather strip holding portion 42 for holding a weather strip, and a garnish 41 forming a design surface on the outside of the vehicle, the single elongated plate member 10 is configured such that a first thin part 11 and a second thin part 12 are formed on both side ends in a short-length direction, which are thinner than a center part 13 of the single elongated plate member 10 in a longitudinal direction of the single elongated plate member 10, and the first thin part 11 forms a part sandwiched by the glass run accommodating portion 40 and the weather strip holding portion 42, and the second thin part 12 forms a part of the weather strip holding portion 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
