The invention relates to a medical assistance method for providing live remote medical assistance, comprising a manned or unmanned medical information kiosk for serving an ill patient. The information kiosk provides 24/7 service and does not requirean appointment. The information kiosk provides a video link for contacting a medical specialized person, and then the patient can communicate with the medical specialized person. The patient inputs personal information, carries out body measurement by himself/herself, displays affected body parts to the medical specialized person through a digital display device and a camera, and obtains a real-time medical advice from the medical specialized person. An existing medical history of the patient is transmitted to the medical specialized person for reference from an external storing device.
