PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind power generator for operating blades in response to wind power by simple structure.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a horizontal shaft type wind power generator comprising a generator, a rotary shaft horizontally and rotatably supported to transmit its rotation to the generator and a plurality of blades 5 arranged radially at this rotary shaft. The blade 5 comprises an arm 7 radially arranged at the rotary shaft, a covering member 10 covering the arm 7, extension parts 13A, 13B connecting the arm 7 with the covering member 10. The extension parts 13A, 13B are applied as resilient members and the covering member 10 is resiliently and rotatably arranged in respect to the arm 7, thereby it is possible to prevent the overload for the blade 5 or the number of rotation of the rotary shaft from being rapidly increased due to its simple structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
