PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accessory and an imaging apparatus which are hardly affected by external noise when changing a communication system between the accessory and the imaging apparatus.SOLUTION: An accessory 1 for imaging is detachably attached to an imaging apparatus 10. The accessory includes: communication means 8 capable of communicating with the imaging apparatus using plural communication systems; and setting means 8 that sets a communication system corresponding to command information received from the imaging apparatus, out of the plural communication systems to a use communication system to be used for communication with the imaging apparatus. According to reception of the command information from the imaging apparatus, and reception of first association information that is information different from the command information and associated with the command information from the imaging apparatus, the setting means sets the communication system corresponding to the command information to the use communication system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
