PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel label printer capable of issuing a plurality of labels into a sheet-like shape continuously, while effectively using advantages of a mount-less label such as allowing a user to freely print on a label with a various length according to articles.SOLUTION: The label printer includes: a printing section for printing on a label, while feeding a mount-less label; a cutter disposed at a downstream side of the printing section for cutting the printed and issued label at a predetermined length; and a tentative adhesion section that holds the cut label from the front and back sides, moves a rear end of a cut preceding label to a position so as not to obstruct advance of the tip end of a following label; and superposes the tip end of the following label with the rear end of the preceding label. This configuration can continuously and connectedly issues the respective labels into a sheet-like shape regardless of the labels printed and issued one by one.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
