PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water dispersion of a polyurethane resin excellent in adhesiveness to wide kinds of films and capable of providing a coated film without cissing and uneven coating.SOLUTION: There is provided a water dispersion of a polyurethane resin and a specific acetylenic compound, the polyurethane resin has acid value of 12.5 to 81.0 (KOHmg/g) by crosslinking an urethane prepolymer having polyester glycol having an isocyanate group on a terminal having aromatic dicarboxylic acid, aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and branched glycol as constitutional components of 35 or more and less than 70 wt.%, organic diisocyanate and a chain extender having free carboxyl group with water in a presence of a neutralizer of 0.4 to 0.8 molar amount based on the chain extender having the free carboxyl group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
