PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ballast water treatment device for flowing to the secondary side of a filter after filling treated water flowed in a filter in a filter, when starting ballast water treatment operation.SOLUTION: In a ballast water treatment device, a filter 3 for providing a filter 23 in a casing 22 is provided in the middle of a ballast water treatment line 1, and a bypass line 8 for bypassing the filter 3 is connected to the ballast water treatment line 1, and a bypass valve 9 is provided in the bypass line 8, and a treated water valve 12 is provided in the ballast water treatment line 1 on the upstream side of the filter 3, and a treatment water valve 13 is provided in the ballast water treatment line 1 on the downstream side of the filter 3, and when starting water conduction to the ballast water treatment line 1, the bypass valve 9, the treated water valve 12 and a bleeder valve 25 for discharging air in the casing 22, are opened, and are put in a state of closing the treatment water valve 13, and after making a predetermined water quantity flow to the bypass line 8, the treatment water valve 13 is opened, and the bypass valve 9 and the bleeder valve 25 are closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
