Magnetic stirrer for mixing a liquid sample (200) contained in a vessel (100), comprising: • - at least one magnetic portion (10) arranged to be placed into the vessel (100) and arranged to be coupled to a magnetic motor arranged outside of the vessel (100), for stirring the liquid sample within a first space of the vessel (100), • - one elevated portion (20) arranged to mix the liquid sample (200) in a second space of the vessel (100), distinct from the first space, • - a connecting portion (30) arranged to attach the elevated portion (20) to the at least one magnetic portion (10), wherein the connecting portion (30) is arranged to effectively stir the liquid sample (200) in a third space of the vessel (100), located between the first space and the second space. |
