PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid consuming device which can estimate viscosity of a liquid in a storage chamber at a time point when a liquid container is attached to an attachment part.SOLUTION: A liquid consuming device includes: measuring means (S2-S5) which measure a physical quantity based on a detection signal output from a detection part, wherein a speed of a liquid moving in a capillary when a first end is communicated with a storage chamber and a second end is released to the atmosphere can be specified by the physical quantity; and determination means (S8) which determines whether the physical quantity measured by the measuring means is included in a threshold range or not.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
