PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a milk or the like that has a strong sleep-inducing effect, therefore that may contribute also to the improvement of insomnia or melancholia even if it is not a special milk and even if it is a domestic produce and is a low cost one milked during a normal time slot.SOLUTION: The method includes feeding, to a milk cow, an egg shell membrane for example 190 g or more per day for 4 consecutive days or more; furthermore, in addition to the egg shell membrane, a banana and a cashew nut too may preferably be fed to the milk cow; thereby a raw milk containing a lot of tryptophan and having a strong sleep-inducing effect is produced from the milk cow; and the raw milk is subjected to a low-temperature germicidal treatment to produce a milk.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
