PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel having a rear drag mechanism capable of being easily realized in a compact structure of a small number of parts without inviting a size increase of the assembly of a drag adjusting knob supported without coming out in a reel body.SOLUTION: In a fishing reel, a reel body 1 comprises: a mounting pore 27 for mounting a drag-adjusting knob 22 axially immovably with respect to the reel body 1; and a side opening 1a for allowing the mounting of the drag adjusting knob 22 from a vertical side with respect to the axial direction of the spool shaft for supporting a spool. Moreover, the drag adjusting knob is clamped between the reel body 1 and a cover 60 for closing the side opening 1a so that the drag adjusting knob 22 is supported while being coming out of the mounting pore 27 of the reel body 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
