PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technology that restrains a brush from moving in a predetermined direction in a holder.SOLUTION: A brush holding mechanism 100 includes: a carbon brush 30 which slidably contacts with a commutator of a motor; a brush holder 31 housing the carbon brush 30; and a restraint member 56 housed in the brush holder 31 with the carbon brush 30. The restraint member 56 holds the carbon brush 30 so that the carbon brush 30 may slide toward the commutator and biases the carbon brush 30 toward an inner wall of the brush holder 31 in a circumferential direction of the commutator.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
