Provided is a lint trap device, achieving improvement of lint trapping efficiency and prevention of lint trapped outflow or breakage as well, and a washing machine with the lint trap device. The lint trap device (8) includes a main part (20), an intake (30), an outflow preventing member (21), which can be inserted into the surface part of a structural member in the washing tank of the washing machine detachably. The main part (20) has a receiving chamber (60) for receiving lint. The intake (30) juts out into the washing tank to take in the lint (K) contained in the water deposited in the washing tank. The outflow preventing member (21) can move towards the open position connecting the receiving chamber (60) and the intake (30) and the close position isolating the receiving chamber (60) and the intake (30), and moves to the open position as water flow into the intake (30) rising, and moves to the close position as water flow into the intake (30) dropping, to prevent the lint (K) flow out of the receiving chamber (60).
