Disclosed are a downlink bandwidth allocation method and device. The method comprises: acquiring the remaining downlink bandwidth of a base station after downlink traffic of a second mode or a first mode is used, and a downlink bandwidth pre-allocated to the first mode and the second mode; and according to the remaining downlink bandwidth and the downlink bandwidth pre-allocated to the first mode and the second mode, adjusting the downlink bandwidth allocated to the first mode and the second mode. By means of the present invention, the problem of transmission congestion or bandwidth resource waste due to the fact that different modes of a multimode base station compete to use downlink bandwidth resources is solved, and the utilization rate of the downlink bandwidth is improved while preventing transmission congestion, thereby achieving the effect of improving the user experience. |
