PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored composition for a color filter, which achieves excellent dispersibility and a high lightness and contrast ratio, and a color filter.SOLUTION: A production method of a colored composition for a color filter is provided, which includes steps of: producing a dispersion 1 by mixing PR (pigment red) 177, a dye derivative (B) and a dispersant (C); producing a dispersion 2 by mixing PR 254, the dye derivative (B) and the dispersant (C); mixing the dispersion 1 and the dispersion 2; and further mixing a photopolymerization initiator and a photopolymerizable monomer. The dye derivative (B) in the dispersion 1 is included by 8 parts by weight or less with respect to 100 parts by weight of the pigment. The dispersant (C) is a linear dispersant (C1) having a moiety (x) at one terminal, which forms a salt with the dye derivative (B), and having a number average molecular weight of 5000 or more and/or a comb-shaped dispersant (C2) having the moiety (x) in the main chain and having a number average molecular weight of branches of 5000 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
