Provided is a methacrylic resin composition that includes a methacrylic resin and a phenoxy resin, and has high transparency, high strength, low thermal shrinkage, low phase difference in the thickness direction, and excellent adhesiveness. Also provided is a film comprising the methacrylic resin composition. The methacrylic resin composition contains a phenoxy resin and a methacrylic resin that has a syndiotacticity (rr) of at least 58%, wherein the phenoxy resin content is 0.1 to 8 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the methacrylic resin, and the total content of the methacrylic resin and the phenoxy resin is at least 80 mass%.
