There is provided a control system and method. An exemplars' method (3400) includes employing (3404) a look-up table to derive first waveform value data for a multi-phase reference waveform. The exemplary method also includes deriving (3406) second waveform value data corresponding to modifier data for the multiphase reference waveform. The modifier data is added (3408) into the reference waveform to produce a modified reference waveform. The exemplary method additionally includes generating (3410) a plurality' of control signals from the modified reference waveform and controlling one or more electronic devices based on the control signals.
