PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of flux having a reduced amount of a contained hydrogen component, and suppressing cold crack of a weld metal, by reducing a hydrogen component transferred from flux into a molten metal formed during welding.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of manufacturing flux for arc-welding by melting a flux raw material in a melting furnace, and by cooling the molten flux raw material. In the manufacturing method of flux for arc-welding, gas containing one or two or more kinds of fluoride gases of CF, CF, CF, CF, SF, SF, SiF, PF, PF, BF, WFand NFis brought into contact with the molten flux raw material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
