PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding system capable of significantly reducing a coefficient of friction on a sliding portion by applying new combination of chromium nitride film and a lubricant.SOLUTION: A sliding system includes a pair of sliding members having relatively movable opposed faces, and a lubricant disposed between the opposed sliding faces. At least one of the sliding faces is composed of a coating surface coated with a chromium nitride film, and the lubricant includes an oil-soluble molybdenum compound having a chemical structure composed of 3-nucleus of Mo. The chromium nitride film is composed of Cr of 40-65 atom% and N of 35-55 atom% when the film as the whole is 100 atom%, and a relative area as an area ration of (111) face to (200)face obtained by analysis by X-ray diffraction is 15-60%. Further the lubricant preferably includes an oil-soluble molybdenum compound of 5-800 ppm by Mo content mass to the whole lubricant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
