Gas measurement chip (10) for use with a gas measurement device (100) of a transportable chip measurement system, wherein the gas measurement chip (10) has a carrier (11) and at least two measurement channels (20, 20', 20"). Provision is made for at least one non-consuming sensor (30, 30', 30") which is capable of regeneration to be arranged in each measurement channel (20, 20', 20"). A transportable chip measurement system having such a gas measurement chip and a method for operating such a system are also disclosed, wherein the method comprises at least the steps of: inserting the gas measurement chip (10) into the gas measurement device (100) and connecting at least one measurement channel (20, 20', 20") of the gas measurement chip (10) to the pump system (120, 121) of the gas measurement device (100); carrying out a measurement using a first measurement channel (20, 20', 20"); changing over to a measurement channel (20, 20', 20") different from the first measurement channel (20, 20', 20"); regenerating the sensors (30, 30', 30") of the measurement channel (20, 20', 20") used last and optionally simultaneously carrying out a measurement using that measurement channel (20, 20', 20") to which a changeover was made in the preceding step; changing over to a measurement channel (20, 20', 20") different from the measurement channel (20, 20', 20") used for measurement in the preceding step; optionally repeating steps d. and e. |
