PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmologic apparatus which reduces a burden on a subject in ophthalmography, and a method to control the ophthalmologic apparatus.SOLUTION: The ophthalmologic apparatus comprising an imaging system focus lens disposed in an imaging optical system for acquiring an image of a subject eye and a fixation lamp focus lens disposed in a fixation lamp system for accelerating fixation of the subject eye further comprises control means which executes focal adjustment of the imaging system focus lens and thereafter executes focal adjustment of the fixation lamp focus lens.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
