PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasticizing apparatus in which the degree of freedom of selecting reinforcing fibers charged into the plasticizing apparatus, can be broadened, and the molded articles of a composite material having a versatile range of mechanical properties can be molded at a low cost.SOLUTION: The plasticizing apparatus 30 includes: a barrel 33 having a feed port 44 through which a reinforcement material can be supplied; a screw 34 contained within the barrel 33; a driving unit 37 for rotation driving the screw 34; a hopper 35 for supplying a parent material into the barrel 33; and a reinforcement material supply unit 40 that can supply, from the feed port 44 into the barrel 33, at least two kinds of reinforcement material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
