The invention relates to a person bed (1) which is used to perform radiological imaging medical examinations by means of x-ray, tomography, nuclear magnetic resonance, and other imaging methods. The person rests on the person bed in a lying position for the creation of tomograms and other images. The person bed (1) is equipped with a sensing apparatus for the optical, laser-optical mechanical, or electromechanical measurement of the patient body or certain locations of the patient body. The person bed has footrests for positioning the soles of the feet as during standing on vertical supporting surfaces with natural foot spread and has means for sensing at least the positions of the knee joints, the hip joint, the pelvic bone, the shoulders, and the head. Furthermore, the bed is equipped with pressure sensors for measuring the local contact weights of the various contacting body locations in order to reproducibly sense the position of the skeleton in relation to the center axis of the skeleton and possible rotations of the shoulder and/or hip. |
