A holographic panel (10, 20, 30) and a manufacturing method therefor as well as a full color coherent backlight device (100). The holographic panel (10, 20, 30) comprises a first substrate (11), a second substrate (12) and polymer dispersed liquid crystal (13) located between the two substrates. The polymer dispersed liquid crystal (13) is formed with a holographic stripe corresponding to a predetermined wavelength range. An electrode (14) is fabricated on at least one of the first substrate and the second substrate. When no voltage is applied to the electrode (14), the polymer dispersed liquid crystal (13) converts incident light in the predetermined wavelength range into collimation coherent light and emits the light. When voltage is applied to the electrode (14), the polymer dispersed liquid crystal (13) is transparent to the incident light in the predetermined wavelength range. In this way, three holographic panels (10, 20, 30) are stacked to form large-area coherent backlight for full color three-dimensional display. |
