PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier device capable of carrying carriages with no need of a deep and large pit.SOLUTION: A carrier device 100 for carrying carriages 200 comprises: a first holding part 111 and a second holding part 112 disposed on respective sides of the carriages 200 in a width direction; a holding device 101 having hold-drive means to hold carriages 200, capable of holding a plurality of carriages 200 simultaneously; reciprocation-drive means 102 reciprocating the first holding part 111 and the second holding part 112 in a conveyance direction; and control means 104 controlling the reciprocation-drive means 102 and the hold-drive means 119 to hold the carriages 200 when the holding device 101 moves forward, and controlling them to release holding of the carriages 200 when the holding device 101 moves backward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
