PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate the reduction in parting on a light extraction surface of a light emitting device.SOLUTION: A light emitting device 100 includes: a plurality of light emitting elements 10 that are arranged with gaps therebetween on a mounting board 1 in a first direction; a wavelength-conversion member 20 that covers over the plurality of light emitting elements 10 and between the plurality of light emitting elements 10; and a light reflective resin 30 that continuously covers perimeter regions of the plurality of light emitting elements 10 and side surfaces of the wavelength-conversion member 20. Each light emitting element 10 has an n-type semiconductor layer 2, an active layer 3 provided in a part of the n-type semiconductor layer 2, and a p-type semiconductor layer 4 provided on the active layer 3, in order from a light extraction surface side. In a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction, n-side electrodes 5 are provided at least in regions at both ends of the n-type semiconductor layer 2, and a p-side electrode 6 is provided on the p-type semiconductor layer 4. In the second direction, each of both side surfaces of the wavelength conversion member 20 is positioned on approximately the same surface with both side surfaces of the active layer 3 or outward of both side surfaces of the active layer 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
