PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor in which an air gap between the stator and the rotor is relatively stabilized.SOLUTION: The linear motor comprises: a stator including two plates which are installed while opposing each other, a spacing block which is installed between the two plates and a plurality of permanent magnets which are installed on the two plates which being spaced apart from each other; and a rotor including a coil portion of which one end is inserted between the two plates of the stator; and an assembly block which is connected to another end of the coil portion. In the spacing block, a slide groove is provided and on a side surface of the coil portion opposing the spacing block, a plurality of balls are fitted. The plurality of balls are partially accommodated within the slide groove and rotatable within the slide groove.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
