PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shared-vehicle management apparatus and management method for improving a usage ratio of a shared-vehicle even in a case where no rentable shared-vehicle exists in a spot desired by a user when the user requests for using the vehicle.SOLUTION: A management apparatus includes: storage means for storing information of a station allowing renting out and returning of a shared-vehicle; position obtainment means for obtaining information on a present position of a user; usage reception means for receiving a usage request of the user; report means for reporting, to the user desiring to rent a shared-vehicle, an event that the shared-vehicle is returned, after the shared-vehicle is returned, in a case where no shared-vehicle that is presently usable exists in a desired rent-out station, with the rent-out station matching a returning station where a user who is using or wanting to use a shared-vehicle returning the vehicle; and priority setup means for setting priority in the reporting for the user desiring rent-out of the shared-vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1C |
