The invention relates to a sealing element for sealing in a motor vehicle, wherein the sealing element is designed to obtain a sealing effect between a component and a surface of the motor vehicle, the surface immediately surrounding the component, wherein the component is movable with respect to the immediately surrounding sur-face, and wherein the sealing element is designed to surround the component and to bear thereagainst, wherein the sealing element has a bead which, in the installed state in the motor vehicle, bears against the reverse side of the immediately surrounding surface, and wherein the component has at least two positions, a first position and a second position, wherein the component is moved further in an engaging direction relative to the surface in the second position than in the first position, wherein, by means of a deformation of the bead from the first position in relation to the second position, a sealing effect is realized in both positions. The invention also relates to a push button device having the component as a push button and having a sealing element according to one of the preceding claims, and to the use of a sealing element according to one of the preceding claims for sealing off a door actuator of a motor vehicle, in particular of a motor vehicle side door. |
