PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing the variation of the transfer performance of a plurality of transfer parts.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 1 includes a transfer belt 33, an image carrier 50, a transfer part 53, an application part 60, moving parts 62a to 62c, and ammeters 63a to 63c. The image carrier 50 comes into contact with the outer surface OS of the transfer belt 33 and carries a developer image. The transfer part 53 comes into contact with the inner surface IS of the transfer belt 33 and transfers the developer image carried by the image carrier 50 to the outer surface OS of the transfer belt 33. The application part 60 applies a transfer bias voltage to the transfer part 53. The ammeters 63a to 63c measure the current values of currents Ia to Ic flowing in the transfer parts 53 of units 32a to 32c. The moving parts 62a to 62c move the transfer parts 53 of the units 32a to 32c along the inner surface IS of the transfer belt 33 by a distance corresponding to the current values of the currents Ia to Ic flowing in the transfer parts 53 of the units 32a to 32c.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
