PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paste coating device having a structure in which paste stored in a paste storage container is scooped up by a paste supply roller and extra paste is scooped down into the paste storage container by a doctor blade and capable of detecting the shortage of residual paste in the paste storage container.SOLUTION: The paste coating device includes a paste 2 storage container 13 that is a shallow container for storing paste 2, a paste supply roller 14 for scooping up the paste 2 stored in the paste storage container 13, and a doctor blade 12 for scooping off extra paste 2 on the paste supply roller 14, and further includes a sensor 10 having a photographing range set to photograph the paste scooped off by the doctor blade 12 in the width direction of the doctor blade 12, and a paste residual amount inspection part 11 for analyzing an image captured by the sensor 10 and detecting the shortage of residual paste 2 in the paste storage container 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
