PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetron capable of fine adjustment of magnetic field intensity.SOLUTION: A magnetron is provided with a movable mass member composed of magnetic-permeable material such as a slider 20 in order to make a fine adjustment of magnetic field intensity between pole pieces 14 and 15 of the magnetron, and the slider can be slid in a tangential direction throughout a surface of an outside casing 16 of an anode. When desired adjustment in the magnetic field is attained, the slider can be locked at a prescribed position.
