PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent weight control of a balance weight from inducing an unwanted phenomenon such as increase of oil rise.SOLUTION: A motor comprises a rotor 10, a stator and a balance weight 80. The rotor 10 is rotated around a rotation axis RA. The stator magnetically interacts with the rotor 10. The balance weight 80 is fitted to the rotor 10. The balance weight 80 includes a rotor contact surface 81 in contact with the rotor 10. In the vicinity of the rotor contact surface 81 of the balance weight 80, a recess 82 is provided which is recessed in an extension direction of the rotation axis RA.
