PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damage applied to the surrounding environment due to vibration, and achieve geological exploration with a wide range and high accuracy.SOLUTION: A method of geological exploration of a front side of a pit face of a tunnel A comprises: a step for forming a long hole 40 by drilling to an inside of a natural ground from a digging face of the tunnel A; a step for installing a vapor pressure generation agent on a vibration point α1 in the long hole 40; a step for installing a vibration reception device 21 on a vibration reception point separated from the vibration point α1; a step for generating an elastic wave which is generated by reaction of the vapor pressure generation agent which is installed on the vibration point α1 from the vibration point α1; and a step for receiving the elastic wave from the vibration point α1 at the vibration reception device 21. In reaction of the vapor pressure generation agent, a thermit mixture in the vapor pressure generation agent is subjected to thermit reaction, and a gas generation agent included in the vapor pressure generation agent is decomposed and vaporized by heat generation of the reaction, thereby vapor is generated, and the generated vapor presses an inner face of the long hole 40, thereby the elastic wave is generated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
